It is Official: FusionWRX is now a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise

Sue Steller Flottman - President
The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) distinguishes FusionWRX, a division of Flottman Company, Inc, as an Officially Certified Women’s Business Enterprise.
WBENC's world-class certification is accepted by more than 1,000 corporations which require supplier diversify. These companies represent America's most prestigious brands, in addition to many states, cities and other entities. WBENC is also an approved Third Party Certifier for the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and the Federal Contracting Program. WBENC’s national standardized certification is not awarded lightly and represents the culmination of a meticulous review process, site visits, interviews and record reviews.
Diverse certification is an important milestone in the life of FusionWRX because it authenticates that the business is owned, managed, and controlled by a qualifying diverse group. Certification also opens the door for opportunities to partner with firms that desire or require a diverse supplier representation.
With this certification FusionWRX becomes a member of the Women's Business Enterprise Council for the Ohio River Valley (Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia). Joining the ranks of women owned businesses, which account for more than one third of all private enterprises in the United States, employ well over eight million people and generate overall revenues greater than $1.4 trillion.
WBENC certification is an important tool for expanding FusionWRX's visibility among decision makers in the corporate procurement arena. Supplier Diversity makes inclusive supply chains a priority. The reasons for diversity range from social responsibility to the bottom line. Ideally, supplier diversity combines the best of our desires for a better, more equitable world and the drive to be a competitive leader in the marketplace.
A supplier diversity commitment benefits a company because it:
- Promotes innovation through the introduction of new products, services, and solutions
- Provides multiple channels from which to procure goods and services
- Drives competition (on price and service levels) between the company’s existing and potential vendors
- Allows a company to take advantage of new opportunities for business expansion with the emergence of new consumer needs based upon shifting demographic realities
The last point stresses the tremendous untapped potential of working with diverse suppliers. Although traditional products and services remain available to consumers, demographic shifts create opportunities for diverse suppliers to meet the needs of emerging and/or shifting populations in the U.S. and across the globe. WBENC preaches that supplier diversity promotes innovation, opens doors and creates partnerships that fuel our economy, acknowledging that diverse vendor relations is just smart business.
As you seek to fulfill your diversity pipeline, FusionWRX can now offer our services and partnership as a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise.
